Common questions
How do I restore Slumbr Pro?
Open Slumbr, tap the Settings button at the top right, then tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you used to buy Slumbr Pro.
If the app says no previous purchase was found, check that your iPhone is signed in to the right Apple ID. If it still does not work, email us.
What does Slumbr Pro change?
Slumbr is free. On the free version, the sleep timer runs from 1 minute to 6 hours. Slumbr Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It lets you turn the timer off, so the sound plays until you stop it, or set it up to 12 hours.
How does the sleep timer work?
Drag the sleep timer slider to choose how long the sound plays. Below it, choose what happens when time is up: Fade out softens the sound over the last 20 seconds, and Stop ends it right away.
The timer starts when sound starts playing.
How do I play through a Bluetooth speaker?
Pair the speaker in the iPhone Settings app under Bluetooth. Then, in Slumbr, tap the output button at the top (it shows an iPhone or Bluetooth icon), tap Choose output, and pick your speaker.
Why did the sound stop on its own?
If a phone call, Siri or another app that plays audio interrupts Slumbr, it pauses and shows “Tap to resume”. When iOS allows it, Slumbr resumes by itself. The sound also stops when your sleep timer ends.
Does Slumbr keep playing when the screen is locked?
Yes. Slumbr keeps playing with the screen locked. It creates the sound on your iPhone, so it does not need an internet connection.
Why did Slumbr start playing when I opened it?
If you have finished the first-run walkthrough and have not used Slumbr for 8 hours or more, opening the app starts your saved mix, because that is usually bedtime. A quick look at the app during the day does not start the sound.
How do I start Slumbr with Siri?
Ask Siri to “Start Slumbr”. Your saved mix begins without opening the app. Other phrases that work include “Sleep with Slumbr” and “Start my Slumbr mix”.
Which iPhones does Slumbr work on?
Slumbr is made for iPhone and needs iOS 17 or later. It uses a dark appearance and portrait orientation.
What information does Slumbr collect, and how do I delete it?
Slumbr does not collect your personal information. Your mix and settings stay on your iPhone, and deleting the app removes them. Read the full privacy policy.
Is Slumbr a medical app?
No. Slumbr is a sound app. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you have trouble sleeping, talk to a health professional. Keep the volume at a comfortable level.
